What are the dates and times of the Annual Lighting of the Vineyard?
The lighting of the vineyard occurs the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. each night. The 2020 event dates are November 27 & 28.
Why is there an admission fee?
Per PA state guidelines a meal must be provided to consume alcohol on the premises. We are excited to have local non-profit organizations providing food for the event. Individuals can redeem their food voucher included with their admission ticket at the non-profit of their choosing. At the end of the evening Benigna’s Creek will “pay-out” each non-profit depending on the number of food vouchers received. In addition, wine tasting is included with General Admission.
Your emailed “receipt” is your ticket. You will need to present your ticket either printed or mobile at the event gate.
Can I buy tickets at the gate the day of the event?
Benigna’s Creek cannot guarantee that tickets will be available at the gate due to capacity restraints. We encourage patrons to purchase tickets in advance or at the very least call the winery the morning of the event to see if there are still tickets available “at the door.”
Will the event be held in inclement weather?
Yes, the lighting of the vineyard is held rain, snow or shine.
What is included with General Admission?
Parking, Food Voucher, Wine tasting voucher, Light Show, Hot chocolate and Coffee. Tickets are non-refundable.
What is included with Designated Driver Admission?
Parking, Light Show, Hot Chocolate and Coffee. Tickets are non-refundable.
Are children welcome?
Yes! Children 12 and under are free but still require an advanced ticket to be counted in capacity numbers.
How do I redeem my wine tasting voucher?
You will receive your wine tasting voucher upon entrance to the event (with valid general admission ticket). Wine tasting vouchers can be redeemed one time for a flight 5 wine samples of your choosing during the specified event date.
How do I redeem my food voucher?
You will receive your food voucher upon entrance to the event (with valid general admission ticket). Food vouchers can be redeemed at any one of our participating non-profit organizations during the specified event date. At the end of the evening, Benigna’s Creek will be making a donation to each organization based on the number of vouchers redeemed.
What types of food options will be available?
Various Soups, Burgers, Sausages, Chili, more items TBA
Will there be additional food for purchase besides my food voucher?
Yes, while supplies last.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food but are still required to purchase a General admission ticket if you plan to consume alcohol onsite.
Will there be complimentary food this year?
In order to fully support our non-profits, many who were unable to have normal fundraising efforts this year due to COVID-19 we will not be offering our normal hospitality tent this year.
Can I consume alcohol on the premises?
Yes, Benigna’s Creek wines are available for consumption during the event. Outside alcohol is prohibited.
Is outside alcohol permitted?
No, outside alcohol is not permitted on winery premises. Security will be checking coolers and bags upon entrance to the event.
Will there be horse drawn carriage rides this year?
Due to social distancing requirements, there will not be horse drawn carriage rides this year.
What COVID-19 precautions will be taken?
Event capacity will be regulated per venue allowance. Guests are required to wear face coverings and practice 6 ft social distancing. Hand sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the venue.
